【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestheconditionsformeasurementoftensilepropertiesaofsinglefilamentofceramicfibresathightemperaturesinairorinertatmosphere(vacuumorcontrolledatmosphere).Themethodappliestocontinuousceramicfilamentstakenfromtows,yarns,staplefibre,braidsandknitting,thathavestraintofracturelessthanorequalto5%andshowlinearelasticbehaviourtofracture.Themethoddoesnotapplytotestingforhomogeneityofstrengthpropertiesoffibres,nordoesitassesstheeffectsofvolumeunderstress.Statisticalaspectsoffibrefailurearenotincluded.Twomethodsareproposeddependingonthetemperatureofthefilamentend:?Hotendmethod:thismethodallowsdeterminationoftensilestrength,ofYoung'smodulusandofthestressstraincurve.NOTE1Currentexperiencewiththistechniqueislimitedto1300°C,becauseoftheapplicationtemperatureofceramicglue.?Coldendmethod.NOTE2Thismethodislimitedto1700°Cinairand2000°Cininertatmospherebecauseofthelimitsoffurnaces.
