【摘要】:1.1ThisstandardconsistsoftechnicaltermsusedinstandardsunderthejurisdictionofASTMCommitteeD01(onPaintandRelatedCoatings,Materials,andApplications),andofdefinitionssuitableforuseinthesestandards.Note18212;Whenanydefinitioninthisstandardsisquotedorpublishedoutofthecontextofthisstandard,editoriallyinsertthefollowingdelimitingstatementx201C;forpaintsandrelatedcoatings,materials,andapplicationsx201D;afterthedashfollowingtheterm(intheabsenceofanexistingdelimitingstatement).Thiswilllimitthefiledofapplicationofthetermanddefinitiontothatapprovedbythiscommittee.1.2Inthisterminologystandard,definitionsusedinotherASTMstandardsareindicatedbyfollowingthedefinitionwiththedesignationofthatstandard.Insomecases,arelevantD01subcommitteeisalsolisted.Definitionsinfluencedbythoseusedbyotherorganizationsareindicatedbytheacronymoftheorganization.Primarytermsaregiveninbold,whilenarrowerandunapprovedtermsaregiveninitalics.1.3ThereareseveralspecializedterminologystandardsunderthejurisdictionofCommitteeD01,asfollows:D804,D1695,D6440,D6488,andD7188.FewdefinitionsfromthosestandardsareincludedinTerminologyD16.Therefore,insearchesfordefinitionsofpaintsandcoatingsterms,thesestandardsshouldbeincludedwhereappropriate.
