【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesstandardrequirementsforevaluatingfrost-susceptiblecoarseaggregateinair-entrainedconcretesubjectedtofreezingandthawinginaccordancewithTestMethodC666/C666M.Concretecontainingfrost-resistantpastemaynotberesistanttofreezingandthawingifitcontainscoarseaggregatethatbecomescriticallysaturated.Anaggregateparticleisconsideredtobecriticallysaturatedwhenthereisinsufficientunfilledporespacetoaccommodatetheexpansionofwaterthataccompaniesthefreezing.ThepotentialofthecoarseaggregatetocausedamageduetocyclesoffreezingandthawingisevaluatedbyTestMethodC666/C666M.1.1Thisspecificationcoversmaterialsforuseinhydraulic-cementconcretemixturestobeplacedbyshotcreting.Itdoesnotcovermixing,placement,curing,orprotectionoftheconcreteplacedbyshotcreting.1.2Thisspecificationcoversmaterialsforbothwet-mixanddry-mixshotcreting.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthestandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
