【摘要】:Informationonthevaporpressuresofliquefiedpetroleumgasproductsundertemperatureconditionsfrom37.8to70x00B0;C(100to158x00B0;F)ispertinenttoselectionofproperlydesignedstoragevessels,shippingcontainers,andcustomerutilizationequipmenttoensuresafehandlingoftheseproducts.Determinationofthevaporpressureofliquefiedpetroleumgasisimportantforsafetyreasonstoensurethatthemaximumoperatingdesignpressuresofstorage,handling,andfuelsystemswillnotbeexceededundernormaloperatingtemperatureconditions.Forliquefiedpetroleumgases,vaporpressureisanindirectmeasureofthemostextremelowtemperatureconditionsunderwhichinitialvaporizationcanbeexpectedtooccur.Itcanbeconsideredasemi-quantitativemeasureoftheamountofthemostvolatilematerialpresentintheproduct.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthegagevaporpressuresofliquefiedpetroleumgasproductsattemperaturesof37.8176;C(100176;F)uptoandincludingatesttemperatureof70176;C(158176;F).1.2Thevaluesstatedinacceptablemetricunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,see3.2.1andAnnexA2.

【摘要】:Thispracticemaynotapplytoproductswhichshallbesubjecttofailureatrelativelylowstrains.Forlowductilitymaterials,theinstalledpipe/soilsystemshallbesufficientlyrigidtopreventpipedeformationswhichcouldstrainthepipingmaterialbeyonditssafestrainlimit.1.1ThispracticegovernsproceduresandreferencesASTMspecificationsforundergroundinstallationofthermoplasticpressurepiping,63-in.(1372-mm)nominalsizeandsmaller.Itisbeyondthescopeofthispracticetodescribetheseproceduresindetailsinceitisrecognizedthatsignificantdifferencesexistintheirimplementationdependingonkindandtypeofpipematerial,pipesizeandwallthickness,soilconditions,andthespecificenduse.1.1.1Thispracticeassumesthatovertherangeofanticipatedoperatingconditions,includingmaximumexternalloadingandminimuminternalpressure,thesoil/pipesystemwilloffersufficientstructuralstabilitytoresistpossibleexcessivediametricaldeformation,orevencollapse.Incases,particularlywithlargediameterthinner-walledpipe,forwhichthevalidityofthisassumptionmaybeinquestion,theselectionofpipeandrecommendedinstallationconditionsshallbedeterminedbyaqualifiedengineer.1.1.2Specificpipecharacteristicsandend-userequirementsshalldictateadditionto,ormodificationoftheproceduresstatedorreferencedherein.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSections10and11.
